Hi everybody!

 As you know we like to post some curiosities about the world and related with tourism. For this reason, to celebrate our post number 10 we would like to do a contest. Write a comment with one curiosity like we do and the best one will receive a pack experience of “La Vida Es Bella”.

Be careful with low prices

Not everything that shines is made of gold.

One of the things we like to do is talk about pack experiences, but like everything, these packs have sometimes problems and for this reason we would like to comment what kind of problems have.

We have been talking with people who used these packs before, some of them didn’t have any problem but another of them had to suffer the consequences that this packs cause.

Surfing by Internet we founded some people who was complaining about the poor quality of some of these packs, and making a summary of all the problems we arrived to the conclusion that the problem was the same.

Inside the pack you can find different places to visit and use the voucher in the place you prefer, then you have to call to the company you have choose and book your stay. As yet is correct, but the problem appears when you fixe the day and the hour. For sleep in a hotel or wherever, we have heard people who couldn’t reserve the night they want because, although there were free rooms, during the nights they were going to go is when there are more people who reserve with the normal way.

In conclusion, you have to choose a day that is not good for you because it is not profitable to the company.

We think this is not problem of the company. After all it is commerce and hey have to win money, for this reason that has the problem are the experience’s packs.

Investigating a little more, we had talked with a hotel in Barcelona that offer its rooms to packs like “La Vida Es Bella” and the manager told us that the benefit they obtained with people who come with experience’s packs it is so low, and sometimes it is not profit-making.

We don’t say that all the packs have the same problem, may be the company that offer its services and experience’s packs would have to agree a plan because the experiences that offer “La Vida Es Bella” and another are so good.

We hope this post serves to increase the quality of these packs and awareness to these packs to not having as high margin.

Fusions and more fusions.

Good night everybody. Today we have a new about Smartbox and Wonderbox.

We never talked about Wonderbox before, but it is a king of pack experience that makes your dreams come true, or at least is what the say.

This midday, more or less at two o’clock we were walking around Montigalà Mall and when we arrived to Carrefour we saw an exposition of Wonderbox and next to this, another exposition of Wonderbox. The curiosity was that Wonderbox offered the same kind of destinies than Smartbox and Wonderbox had a lower price, exactly10 Euros less. We would like to show you a photo of this but the personal of Carrefour didn’t let us do any photo to their products.

But the situation was the next; in front of the aisle there were these two packs and in the sideway there was “La Vida Es Bella” with a high price.

We were puzzled because normally Wonderbox has higher prices than another packs. Maybe one of the reasons is because Smartbox and “La Vida Es Bella” were joined and Wonderbox didn’t want to surrender. We have been investigating and effectively Wonderbox is propriety of Smart and Co. The CEO of Smart and Co has assured that has promoted a plan of action to reinvent Wonderbox and become this brand as the “Low Cost” of the company offering packs with the same category they had but battling this way to travel agencies.

During all 2012, the brand had sold more than 650.000 packs and is operating in more than 14 countries.
