We are again here to tell you about the fussion of "La Vida es Bella" and Smart and co company.
“La vida es Bella” and “Smartbox” combine
forces to mill the global economic crisis.
One month ago, the French multinational
Smart & Co, which owns several companies’ gift experiences, has acquired “La
vida es Bella” company from Spain.
“La vida es Bella” split with those who
have been their Portuguese partners, A e bela life, and becomes part of the
largest and strongest in the sector of worldwide experience.
The new company assure that they are
pleased at the group to have a new member. Firmly, they believe that the
acquisition of “La vida es Bella” above all strengthen the industry itself, as
said the CEO of Smart & Co, Axel Bernia.
“La vida es Bella”, that in 2011 turnover
of 30 million Euros, was launched in Spain in 2006 and, after two years of
marketing a catalogue of more than a thousand experiences through websites,
made the leap to the big distribution Christmas 2008, when it launched its
first 10 packs of experiences.
Smart & Co, present in 14 countries and
a workforce of 800 employees, had in 2011 had a turnover that touched the 400
million Euros. EFECOM.

Why, in your opinion, have both companies decided to join forces?
ResponderEliminarWe think that because, on the one hand, the idea of joining forces allowed them to gain more market, as well as being more competitive with their competidors.
EliminarOn the other hand, "La Vida es Bella" was " Smartsbox" main competidor, so the fact of joining forces with the main competidor made the that strenght of the competidors decreased, because tgey had merged with the one that was more powerful.
I have seen a lot of times theses boxes but I have never bought one.
